The Chinese University of Hong Kong-Prince of Wales Hospital Diabetes and Endocrine Centre was designated as CUHK-PWH International Diabetes Federation Centre of Education from 2011 to 2019 in recognition of its academic excellence to use research to change practice and influence policy.
The Centre was an integral part of an international collaborative voluntary network to initiate, coordinate, facilitate and conduct high quality education for multidisciplinary healthcare professionals in diabetes and other related chronic diseases; and played a key role in the vision and contributed to the implementation of the IDF Global Education Strategic Plan.
While the International Diabetes Federation has decided to suspend this programme from 2020 onwards due to COVID-19, our Institute continues to provide the following academic programmes and professional trainings for multidisciplinary healthcare professionals in the Western Pacific Region as the CUHK-PWH International Diabetes Federation Centre of Excellence in Diabetes Care -
